 April 1st

The Underground Railroad Lapbook Project:

Students have been working on this for about 6 weeks, this was a Social Studies tie in with our last read aloud, 'The Underground to Canada' about fictional escaped slaves on their journey to Canada and freedom in the 1800's. This was a very deep topic, that students learned quite a bit about over these last couple of months and I am hoping they will remember this project for a long time. The photos are of my sample.
